Was nice to spend time with someone from 'pre-Deven' days - though the time we had together was all too short; and punctuated by Yogesh being right about a bottle of wine - it was too sweet.
Invasion of the Schmelatives
This weekend, my sister Heather and hubby Tommy came and surprised my parents by visiting, so we were all in town together. I think my mom's expression when she saw my sister was worth the effort. :-)
Heather instantly turned Deven into a Baby Rocker -
- and found her favorite Noe Valley coffee shop, Martha Brothers (see it behind her/Tommy/Deven in the photo).
She also took the nice shot of Naana Doug & Deven (who share the same initials). Pretty cool, huh?
Monday, we arranged for a family photo shoot with a professional photographer, Hitomi. It was fun to get semi-dressed-up, and then get into different groups for the camera and make silly faces behind the camera so Deven would smile. The photographer took over 500 frames- which @ 12 megapixels, is a lot of data! I can't wait to post the good snaps!
Little Stand-Up
Deven has become quite fond of standing - supported, of course - but standing nonetheless. He also loves 'flying' overhead...and any sort of interaction with my sister (she's earning her reputation as "Favorite Aunt" on a regular basis). He still won't sleep through the night - I guess it's too much to ask, still.
