Househunting - now Millbrae

...going very slowly. Mostly because we're being pretty particular about what we want, and do still love where we live. Millbrae seems to have good options - but then, we said the same thing about Berkeley and here we are 9 months later in our same home.

Found this random "Walk Score" that shows all the things you can do within walking distance of a location. Thought it was interesting, so I thought I'd share it. We're house-hunting, and want a location with lots of things within walking distance, as we like this lifestyle!

I've started my new position today, and really enjoy the commute - it's 10 minutes on a train, 10 on a shuttle, & 10 minutes walking now; worst-case 45 minutes total if I miss every connection. Not bad...and allowed us to sell our car - for precisely what we listed it for!

Oh, goodie - now we can fund Deven's & Cupcake's college funds a bit more than the anemic amounts there today...
