Bye-Bye Tsering (sniff)

We said goodbye to our beloved Nanny Tsering earlier this week. Rohan will be going off to school after we return from India - he'll be 3, and he's really ready for school.

It's hard to say goodbye to someone who has loved your children every day, all day, for over 2 years. (And let me not go too deeply into it, but as a person, Tsering is a calm, sweet, loving woman who is efficient with households as well, so she not only kept us picked up and in order physically, but mentally & emotionally too).

Tears were shed; it was a bittersweet moment. She will still care for our sharecare partner, "Baby Desmond" who's now 1 year old; so we hope to see her again on occasion for babysitting.

In related news, we're going through the public school search process - saw our "Neighborhood school" (which we have only a slim chance of getting a seat at); so that, plus we're on the eve-eve now of Yogesh's 40th year - it should be an interesting year of transitions for us. :)
