When did Deven transform from a pudgy toddler into a skinny little boy who knows how to say 'anemone' correctly, in context?
When did Rohan grow from an unstable early walker, into someone who can run and say "I'm angry!" when he's upset, and make Daadi crack up when grabbing toys back from Deven & Mr. Sparky the cat?

My how time files. Wasn't it just "yesterday" that you were talking
about "how big you had gotten" carrying Rohan? When you were
terrified to handle your new born son, Deven? When you left home to
go away to college? When you showed your first steer and I was
terrified you would get stepped on? When I was terrified by the
telephone call from you babysitter saying you had your leg broken by a
fall with the babysitter's daughter? When I wasn't sure we would make
it to the hospital in time for your birth? (Oh heck, we had thirteen
minutes to spare!)
