Because we can eat outside at Fritz, a Belgian burger, beer & fries reataurant on Feb 9, in midwinter, wearing just sweaters.
Of course the same is true in July, but I'm not thinking about that right now.
In related news, we've had our first AirBnB.com houseguests - A Spanish-Chilean couple who's come to study @ Stanford & want to live nearby.

The guest house idea is really cool. I wish you had that going 4 or 5 years ago when we used to come out to visit my grandma. I hated staying in Lafayette with my aunt.
Let me know if you're ever back here in SF - the room is yours (free of course) & Ely would have 2 playmates built-in. :)
